Your role in our future.

The main purpose of this position is to oversee the development of two psychology based self-management resources 1) for fear of cancer recurrence and 2) Sleep difficulties for people for people with cancer from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The project manager will:

  1. co-design and conduct two focus groups with a range of CALD groups (Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Arabic) to develop content of the resources  
  2. work translators to  translate the resources and determine appropriateness
  3. produce a sleep and fear of recurrence booklet suitable for people from Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic backgrounds

 

This opportunity is for a Fixed Term period of nine months, 15.2 hours per fortnight.

Selection Criteria Essential: Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
Essential: An APAC approved post-graduate qualification to Masters level in Clinical Psychology
Essential: Clinical experience in the delivery of psychological services to people and their families in health care / mental health setting
Essential: Project management experience
Essential: Understanding of research methodology
