Your role in our future.


We are looking for a highly motivated Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Consultant to provide HSW advice and guidance to all Peter Mac employees, whilst enforcing strategies necessary to ensure legal compliance with OHS legislation.  The role reports to the Manager Health, Safety & Wellbeing and is part of the People and Culture team at Peter Mac.  As a member of the HSW team, you will be required to problem solve and provide business-oriented solutions that are achievable in supporting Peter Mac’s compliance with relevant legislation and the administration and coordination of a range of programs.


About you


You will have qualifications in HSW and a working knowledge of safety legislation, standards & codes of practice and risk management.


Experience in an HSW role within the health sector is highly desirable.  Demonstrated communication skills – verbal and written.  Proven record for delivery of HSW services and an understanding of the provision of HSW systems for risk mitigation to complete audits and risk assessment record and recommendation of control mechanisms for improvement.

Selection Criteria Essential: Teritary qualification in HSW or related discipline
Essential: Experience in the delivery of HSW services, understanding HSW systems for risk mitigation
Essential: Health and/or research HSW experience within complex sector
