We are seeking a Professor of Clinical Informatics.

 

This prestigious position will be jointly appointed with Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) and the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health at the University of Melbourne (CDTH).

 

The successful applicant will be integral to the transformative vision of the digital strategies at Peter Mac and CDTH, and advancing the digital transformation of healthcare delivery for patients with cancer more broadly.

 

Essential qualifications and experience:


•A prominent career of international or leading national standing in clinical academia and research with demonstrated capacity to lead significant collaborative research and translation/implementation projects; and to lead, grow and support multi-disciplinary teams.

 

•Demonstrated commitment to growing the next generation of clinical informaticians and digital health researchers, and to enabling the cancer care workforce to thrive in a digital health environment.

 

•Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare systems, particularly the factors involved in translation and implementation of digital health interventions and the data and informatics required for a learning healthcare system.

 

•Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with an ability to work collaboratively, develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.

 

This is a full time opportunity for a fixed term period of 3 years.
