Position Summary

The Department of Cancer Imaging at Peter Mac is seeking a Grade 3 MIT to actively work as a MIT within the team and lead and coordinate departmental quality and education activities. 

 

The successful candidate will work with the organisational assets to maintain compliance with accreditation criteria and improve service quality.  They will also coordinate student education and liaise with external educational organisations regarding student welfare and education.

 

This is a three day a week position.  Internal applicants who work more than 3 days a week will be able to maintain their current hours - split between the Coordinator role (Grade 3) and their ordinary role (maintaining current grade).

 

The Cancer Imaging Department is a comprehensive, fully digital environment with new high end equipment.  The department runs an in house education program for staff, students and interns and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to and coordinate this program. 

 

Candidates must posess a qualification in Medical Radiations Science, be registered with AHPRA and hold a radiation Use License. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Health Professional Services Award.
