Your role in our future.

 

The NUM Cancer Imaging has responsibility for:

  • Leadership and governance of nursing related patient care across Cancer Imaging
  • Leadership of evidence-based best practice
  • Leadership of the nursing workforce ensuring delivery of best patient care
  • Oversight and delivery of efficient operational and business processes in Cancer Imaging

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Division 1
  • Postgraduate qualification in nursing, or equivalent, or working towards (clinical practice, nursing, management or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience and demonstrated knowledge and expertise in acute care nursing
  • Proven human and financial resource management capability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead and work effectively within a multi-disciplinary setting
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care
  • An understanding of, and experience with, developing evidence-based practice
  • Demonstrated involvement in professional activities and organisations including membership of the Cancer Nursing Society of Australia
  • Experience in the implementation of quality improvement, work practice reform and change within a large organisation
  • Cancer Imaging experience desirable
