We are looking for a Research Assistant to provide laboratory support and specimen processing for a clinical trial within the Division of Radiation Oncology, Parkville. Tasks include specimen planning, workflow preparation, handling of patient blood samples, preparation and storage of microscope slides and record-keeping. This role is perfectly suited to individuals wanting to gain experience in clinical trial work working alongside the Cancer Research Division, with extensive training in laboratory skills, project management and data-entry provided. 

 

Minimum Honours degree in biological or medical science (or equivalent) and prior experience in laboratory research is essential, along with experience with blood handling or a strong background in cell culture.
