A unique and exciting opportunity exists for a skilled fellowship trained radiologist with body radiological experience to join Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre’s Radiology team based at the new state-of-the-art Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre building in Parkville.  


This opportunity would suit an experienced radiologist with a passion for body imaging who wants to work within a team of radiologists and clinicians who strive to find better treatments, better care and potential cures for all cancers.  Radiologists with the RANZCR or equivalent and fellowship training in a body specialist area are encouraged to apply.

As a member of the Peter Mac radiology team you will have access to imaging equipment of the highest standard. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes a dual energy Siemens Force CT, a dedicated interventional CT, a Siemens Artis Zeego angiography suite, Philips EPIQ Ultrasound machines and a dedicated interventional Ultrasound unit, Hologic breast Tomosynthesis and stereotaxis unit, Siemens Skyra 3 T MRI.


Situated in the heart of the Parkville Biomedical precinct, Peter Mac is a leading integrated cancer research; treatment and education centre globally and is Australia’s only public hospital dedicated to cancer treatment, research and care.  We are one of a few cancer treatment facilities in the world which has a fully integrated clinical and research program situated alongside a hospital.  This co-location facilitates the translation of research findings into better clinical outcomes for patients. Our clinicians and researchers work closely together and with local and international partners in the global fight against cancer.


We also work collaboratively with The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Royal Women’s hospital to deliver world’s best cancer treatment, with twelve precinct-wide Tumour Streams ensuring patients benefit from the shared expertise of cancer clinicians from across the three hospitals.
