Practice Development Nurse - Ward 3A (Medical Oncology, Adolescent Young Adult and Clinical Trials)
- Opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Practice Development Nurse team to support nursing education and quality improvement initiatives through ward based clinical support and development
- Work in Australia's only Public Health Service solely dedicated to caring for people affected by cancer
- Permanent Part Time position (up to 48hours per fortnight)
About Ward 3A
Ward 3A is a dynamic and acute care 32 bed unit with an additional 4 bed overnight Clinical Trials Unit.
Our patients receive care under the following medical specialities:
- Head & Neck
- Lung
- Skin & Melanoma
- Sarcoma/Bone & Soft Tissue
- Neurology
- Gynaecology & Genitourinary
- Gastrointestinal
- Adolescent & Young Adult cancers
Your role in our future
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate and skilled clinical leader with the following:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Postgraduate diploma in cancer nursing or equivalent
- Demonstrated cancer nursing expertise with at least 3 years' experience
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills
- Commitment to implementing innovative education and quality improvement initiatives that benefit patient care
Remuneration as per Nurses And Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024 - YW11 - RN ANUM YEAR 1 ($65,510.12) to YW12 - RN ANUM YEAR 2 ($67,713.88).
