Globally, we are facing one of the most pivotal times in the pursuit of cancer cures, and Peter Mac stands at its forefront. Your role in our future.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Grade 1 dietitian to be based 0.6EFT fixed-term for 2 years within the Nutrition and Speech Pathology Department of this specialist cancer centre. Additional days of work are likely and therefore we are seeking someone with the ability to flex up to full-time if possible. We are seeking a dietitian with some clinical experience in oncology, who is passionate about working in oncology, hardworking, adaptable and has excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

The successful applicant will provide evidence based specialised nutrition and dietetic services to inpatients and ambulatory patients in a multidisciplinary care setting at the Melbourne campus. This position is not linked with a specific clinical workload, however the successful applicant will work in/across major tumour streams, including head and neck, gastrointestinal and/or haematology, as negotiated within the department. This includes seeing patients across the entire trajectory including patients from all tumour streams and undergoing all types of cancer treatment.

For further information about this opportunity, please review the position description and/or contact us for a confidential discussion.
