A Senior Research Assistant position is available in the Translational Prostate Cancer Research Laboratory (TPCR). The TPCR laboratory is focussed on pre-clinical and translational prostate cancer research using ex vivo and in vivo models of prostate cancer and correlative biomarker studies.  The candidate will preferably have a strong background in histology/immunohistochemistry, routine molecular biology techniques (RT-PCR, subcloning), cell culture and animal work. The candidate will need to be highly organised and have prior experience in managing a laboratory (e.g. ordering, OHS compliance, contribution to ethics application and reporting). The TPCR laboratory collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team of clinician and clinician-researchers affiliated with the Prostate Theranostics Imaging Centre of Excellence (ProsTIC).

 

This position is initially Fixed Term Full-Time for a two year period.
