Together, we aim to lead a new era of cancer prevention, care and discovery, supported by state-of-the-art facilities at our new home within the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre building.

Your role in our future.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receipt, processing, storage and retrieval of biological material (tissue, blood and bone marrow) from consenting donors. You will also approach prospective donors for written consent, collect clinical information from patient medical records and enter details into our tissue bank database.

You will be enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn.  Attention to detail is vitally important, as is the ability to work well in a team environment.  Meticulous data entry skills are essential, and an understanding of the ethical principles underpinning research using human tissue is desirable.
