This role is a 12 month full-time clinical fellow position within Clinical Haematology of Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital.

 

Responsibilities include the oversight and care of patients undergoing clinical trial and non-clinical trial treatments in the field of aggressive lymphoid malignancies. At the moment the hospital is undergoing a period of substantial investment in cellular therapies and immune-engaging therapies, and this position will involve care of patients in those trials (including CAR-T).  Research projects will be predominantly clinical but may have a translational or diagnostic component, depending on the interests of the applicant.  There may be opportunities to extend the fellowship and undertake a higher degree. Salary Range:  From HM25 to HM30 – ($112,678 to $155,090 per annum depending on experience) 

 

 

Selection Criteria Essential: Medical qualifications registrable by AHPRA
Essential: Post graduate qualifications in internal medicine (FRACP) and haematology or enrolment in haematology training program
Essential: Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting
Essential: Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with medical staff and other disciplines
