Your role in our future.


We are seeking an experienced, highly professional Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of a multi-site clinical trial evaluating the role of a novel radiopharmaceutical targeting cancer of unknown primary in addition to a portfolio of clinical trials, research studies and registries conducted by the Department of Cancer Imaging. Collection and management of data in the departmental databases will also be required. You will be highly motivated, with confidence and initiative to liaise and communicate with investigators, patients and a diverse range of clinical and research staff and to foster cooperation and support from colleagues.

Essential requirements of the role include:

  • Experience in Clinical Research, Ethics and Governance submissions. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and highly developed organisational skills to meet strict deadlines.
  • The successful candidate must have a degree in a health science field. Good working knowledge of ICH-GCP, the NHMRC National Statement and current ethics requirements.
  • Experience in Oncology Clinical Research and the use of REDCap data management software is highly desirable.

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have relevant tertiary qualification in Health Sciences, Health Information Management, Clinical Trial Management or a related paramedical field?
Essential: Do you have at least one year Clinical Research Experience?
Essential: Do you have experience in Ethics and governance submissions?
Essential: Do you have a good understanding of ICH GCP, the current NH&MRC Clinical Research policies, international regulatory and research governance requirements and privacy legislation?
Essential: Do you possess a sound knowledge and demonstrated experience using Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook?
Essential: Do you have a good understanding of medical terminology?
Essential: Do you have excellent written and oral communication skills?
Essential: Do you have personal confidence and initiative required to deal with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences?
Essential: Do you possess excellent organisational, problem solving and analytical skills?
