Fixed Term Part Time (0.4 - 30.4 hours per fortnight)

An exciting and challenging position is available immediately within our team for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Grade 2 Psychologist to project manage a new project called 'Stepped-care Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for persistent fatigue in cancer survivors’.. The main purpose of this position is to oversee the implementation and evaluation of a stepped-care evidence based intervention for managing fatigue in cancer survivors. The project will redesign our model of care to better address cancer-related fatigue  by;

  • Developing and delivering a self-management CBT-fatigue resource for patients, and a group CBT intervention for persistent fatigue;
  • Implementing a stepped-care evidence based fatigue management program;
  • Developing appropriate referral and treatment pathways; and
  • Providing training in the delivery of CBT-fatigue interventions to healthcare professionals

Suitable applicants should have;

  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • An APAC approved post-graduate qualification to Masters level in Clinical Psychology
  • Clinical experience in the delivery of psychological services to people and their families in health care / mental health settings
  • Endorsement or proof of working towards endorsement in 'clinical psychology' area of practice
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Data management skills
  • Understanding of research methodology
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in delivering CBT
