Radiation Therapist - Grade 1

 

Outstanding candidates are encouraged to apply for Grade 1 Radiation Therapist positions to join our dedicated team at Peter Mac.  Radiation Therapy services operate across five campuses at Bendigo, Box Hill, Melbourne, Moorabbin and Sunshine. We are currently recruiting to the following vacancies:

  • Full time and part time fixed term positions across multiple campuses

Qualities you will have include flexibility, commitment to patient and staff welfare and a dedication to teamwork and communication. You will join a team that focuses on delivering excellence in patient care, utilising state of the art radiation therapy and evidence based practice.

Peter Mac provides general and specialist radiotherapy for a wide range of malignancies. Equipment and technology in use includes Varian linear accelerators; XiO, Monaco, Eclipse, and iPlan treatment planning systems; brachytherapy; Phillips Brilliance planning CTs; kilovoltage treatment units; and MOSAIQ radiation oncology information system. 

Rostered shift duty and overtime may be required. 

Registration with AHPRA, a current DHS User Licence, a professional working with children check and police check are also requirements for new staff. Salary is in accordance with the Health Professional Services Award depending on previous experience.
