The Victorian Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Service is a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, educators and researchers working collaboratively to support the care of people aged 15 to 25 diagnosed with cancer.


We are currently seeking a grade 2 Psychologist to cover a period of parental leave in a part time capacity (4 days/week).  The role will include assessment and therapy with young people (15-25 years old) and the potential for involvement in other service portfolios and projects.  You will receive orientation to adolescent & young adult oncology, supervision and engagement with the Peter Mac psychology department.

Selection Criteria Essential: • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia • An APAC approved Post Graduate qualification to Masters Level in Clinical Psychology Experience/interest in the delivery of psychological services to young people and their families in health care/ mental health settings
Essential: • Endorsement in ‘clinical psychology’ area of practice • Experience working effectively and collaboratively within an inter-disciplinary team
