We are currently seeking a highly motivated Nurse Consultant – CAR T cell therapy to join our supportive and inclusive specialist nursing team for a full time,12 month fixed term, maternity leave cover.


The Nurse Consultant - CAR T cell therapy

- is an expert practitioner who uses and facilitates evidence- based clinical practice which is visionary, creative and appropriate to the service.

- identifies, facilitates, provides and evaluates educational processes to enhance the knowledge and competencies of health professionals and patients within the service.

- works closely with the multidisciplinary team and uses advanced practice clinical knowledge and skills to manage symptoms and side effects.


Successful Applicants will hold:


  • A Minimum of 5 years’ experience in oncology nursing at a senior level.
  • Experience in a specialist nursing role is desirable.
  • Evidence of advanced clinical assessment and decision making knowledge & skills
  • An understanding of and experience with developing evidence-based practice
  • Demonstrated involvement in professional activities and organisations e.g. Australian College of Nursing, Cancer Nursing Society of Australia, Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand
  • Motivation to delivering a high standard of patient care
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously when required
  • Commitment to improvement and excellence in the delivery of outcomes
