Familial Cancer Centres provide a range of services to assist individuals in adjusting to and managing a high familial cancer risk. There is one Familial Cancer Centre within the Parkville Precinct, created by bringing together the significant expertise within the Familial Cancer Centres of The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.


Reporting to the Director Parkville Familial Cancer Centre, the Operations Lead will oversee the day-to-day management of operational, financial and administrative functions for the Familial Cancer Centre service.


The successful candidate will possess exceptional business and operational leadership skills, hold a business or finance qualification and have the ability to inspire teams to work together to deliver excellence in service delivery. With highly developed people management, change management and financial management skills, the Operations Manager, Familial Cancer Centre will support the Director of the Familial Cancer Centre to build a world class, integrated service co-located across the Parkville precinct. Significant experience in budget management, business planning, performance setting and public health is essential.
