This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Grade 2 dietitian to be based permanently within the Nutrition and Speech Pathology Department of this specialist cancer centre. There are two full-time, permanent roles available.

 

We are seeking a dietitian with significant clinical experience in oncology, who is passionate about working in oncology, has demonstrated leadership skills, proven ability to supervise and support staff, is hardworking, adaptable and has excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

 

The successful applicant will provide evidence-based specialised nutrition and dietetic services to inpatients and ambulatory patients in a multidisciplinary care setting at the Melbourne campus, and may be required to attend the Box Hill and Moorabbin radiotherapy campuses. This position is not linked with a specific clinical workload, however the successful applicant will work in/across major tumour streams, including head and neck, gastrointestinal and/or haematology, as negotiated within the department. This includes seeing patients across the entire trajectory including patients from all tumour streams and undergoing all types of cancer treatment.

 

One role is planned to commence in November 2019, the other in January 2020.
