Are you looking for the opportunity to gain experience in diagnostic Molecular Pathology?


The Molecular Haematology laboratory in the Pathology Department is looking for laboratory technicians to join our team and to support molecular diagnostic services. The position presents an exciting opportunity to gain invaluable experience in this rapidly growing field. We are currently seeking fixed term full time technicians (six months and 12 months leave coverage) who are available to work Mon-Fri during normal business hours.


As a suitably qualified and experienced technician, you will be responsible for supporting a diagnostic service based upon detecting and analysing mutations in haematological disease. Previous diagnostic pathology experience and experience in molecular diagnostics would be highly desirable.


You will receive extensive on-the-job training in Pathology molecular diagnostics as specified by our regulatory requirements and quality systems, as well as exposure to a wide range of projects based upon innovative research from local and international collaborators.
